It is okay. If you go to your Start button (Windows icon)>>All Programs>>HP>>PSC 1315 you should see an option to pick up the installation by adding a printer. If you do not see the PSC 1315 under the HP folder, it may not have ever installed properly. In which case, let me know before you go to the HP website to download the software and start all over again. Be sure to verify for me if your Windows Vista is 32 bit or 64 bit if this is so. I have a few more questions/tasks for you if the printer is not under All Programs>>HP or Hewlett-Packard.
