Scan and print photo

When I scan and print a photo, I get a print that is smaller than I want.  If I scan a 5 X 7 photo and select 5 X 7 on the menu, I get a 3 X 5 photo.  If i scan a 4 X 6 photo and select 4 X 6, I get a 2 X 3 photo on my 4 X 6 paper.
