I can't scan from my HP Photosmart C5280 all-in-one. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software which I downloaded from the HP website to have the latest updated version. The printer is connected via USB, and I disconnected it before renstalling. I cannot scan either directly from the printer, or from the computer. I've tried using both the HP Solution Center as well as the Windows scan and fax feature. Nothing works. I've read many posts about this problem and am unable to understand why HP wouldn't try to resolve the issue.
