I am not sure you are with me. I do not know if HPZ12 is running (it's suppose to be ]services] but it not in the processes). What I do know is the HP Solution Center application is not around. If the Solution Center is HPZ12 than it is not running. Since running Scan Doctor give a big red "X" on its test of Solution Center and says its missing.
Because Solution Center is not present the scan part of the printer and scanner are fighting for the HP Twain driver. The system says the scanner and printer are installed as they both are listed and displayed in the devices and function not using the HP Twain driver.
If there is something wrong with part of the system software MS says to find a know good copy and paste it in place of the bad copy. Where is this code going to come from if you don't have another computer?
Since the only major problem that HP's debug application come up with is the Solution Center is missing, the others are warning that the driver is being user by someone else. This kinda suggest that who ever built the last couple of updates did not put the Solution Center in the build. Because of this an update could fuction correctly while a new install (for a new OS) would and is failing to function.
Where can I get the code for Solution Center? If nothing else just to see if I am correct.
