Hi,

It's much better to scan from your computer, this method allows more options. But if you wish to scan from the printer to your computer, you need to initiate or enable scan to computer first FROM your computer (Windows):

(a) Click (or double click) printer icon,
(b) Click Manage scan to computer,
(c) Enable

You can start this option with Windows by ticking a square box.
