Thanks David Praveen. Your solution worked. I was about to trash my Hp 6310 printer. You saved the day and my printer. My problem was with the solution center scan software. There was no destination choices to save a scan file. I replaced the file like you suggested and bam there they were. Save to file choices. Thanks … you are the man. Kudos to you.
