I'm not Pippin24, but I had the same issue a while back and was unable to get it resolved. I came back tonight to take another shot, and found your thread. I tried the doctor tool, and it said everything tested as okay, even successfully did a test scan. But when I closed the doctor, I still wasn't able to scan, either from control board or software. When I went to uninstall the driver, I found I only had a basic driver installed. I don't know how that could be, I'm certain it installed the full driver when I first connected the printer. Nonetheless, after the new install of the full featured driver I'm once again able to scan from printer and from software. Good job, thanks!
