Thank yoy for your concern. I followed your steps. But in vain. It didn't help. I forgot to say that I use 2 hp printers (the 2nd one is 1320). The 1536's IP addres is 192.168.1.6. As you asked I printed Config report. The speed of printing was OK. I looked through the userguide pages but I didn't find anything about my problem with the scanner. I knew it before that the higher the resolution the slower is the scanning. But not that slow as it is in my case - 5 minutes for 1 page with 300ppi/colour scannig. As I said earlier there was no such problem with this scanner on Mac OSX 10.7. It appeared only after upgrade to Mac OSX 10.8. Could it be the problem of hp's driver for Mac OSX 10.8.? I checked the speed of scanning on canon's canoslide 90: it takes less than 1 minute to scan 1 page with 300ppi/colour.
