I have recently purchasded this machine and have discovered that copying or scanning in colour does not work when scanning from printer or Computer
There are No error messages Operating system Windows 7 64 bit
checked all settings on the machine and the computer a doxen times aqll say scan and copy and print in colour.
Document or photo printing from Computer work ok
Test prints work
as do all printer fuinctions.
Latest firmware and software
Have tried
Pull power cord reset - nothing
Reset to factory from printer - nothing
Pinter and scanner doctor shows alll good nothing wrong but test scan produces image in very pale colours eg Yellow turns into very pale olive everything else is shades of grey and black.
copy from printer itself using colour button produces image in very pale colours eg Yellow turns into very pale olive everything else is shades of grey and black. Black print is perfect

It appear to me there must be a hardware problem between the scanner and the motherboard.
IMHO.
I have reinstalled everything
Any clues please
