Hi ,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer wherein there is no scan button.

This issue could occur if the firmware is not updated.

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.

And here is the link to download and install the firmware: DJ2600_R1729A_R1728A.exe

Let me know if this works.

You have a good day ahead.

Re: Document feeder for copier/scanner is dirty and produces vertical lines

your issue is probably more to do with the small scanner glass that the ADF uses when copying or scanning (you'll notice it right next to the flatbed scanner glass).  Clean that smaller, thinner glass and try copying after that, chances are you'll find a nice, clean print.  The roller being dirty would mostly give you paper feeding issues, like not picking the paper.

the motor in your scanner is probably shot, its not allowing the optical unit to move through its complete range of motion.

CTRL-ALT-DELETE to bring up your task mananger, select the program you dont want to run and end process.  Reinstall the printer using the full software driver solution on the HP.com website.  go to support/drivers and enter in the correct product information.  look for the full software driver, download it and run the installer.  make sure to remove/uninstall the original printer from your computer.  When you go to your devices and printers, right click the old printer and remove it.

you either have a sensor being blocked that you cant see or the sensor was damaged when removing the jam.  Look for a tab on the door that would actuate a corrisponding sensor.  it might be an optical sensor where the flag/tab simply breaks the beam to tell the printer the door is closed, or it could be a mechanical sensor that is activated when the flag/tab hits a sensor which then depresses and lets the printer know the door is closed.

Hi ,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer wherein you get a message that the username and password are invalid when you want to scan to email and hence you want to reset the password.

You need to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to restore the printer to its factory settings and then connect it to the wireless network.

As the semi-full reset is a confidential information, I will be sending the steps in a private message. Please check your private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile,

Next, to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are unable to choose A3 size. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

Reset the printer.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

       NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer.

Adjust the paper size setting.

  1. In the program you want to print from, click File, and then click Print.

  2. Make sure your printer is in the Name or Printers drop-down list box, and then click Properties, Printer Properties or Preferences.

  3. Click the Paper/Quality tab.

  4. Click Advanced, if necessary, and then click Paper Size.

Figure : Selecting the correct paper size

    Selecting the correct paper size
  5. Select the paper size that matches the size and type of paper loaded in the printer tray, and then click OK. If there are no matching paper sizes, select the size from the list that is closest to the size of the paper loaded in the tray.

  6. Click OK, and then try to print.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers.

This printer has no fax.  You would need to just scan and email.

Re: HP psc 1210 does not print copy does not scan

Hi ,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!  As I understand you are having issues with your HP PSC 1210 printer does not print, copy nor scan. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you recently made any changes on the printer before the issue started?

Does that Scanner bulb light up?

Does the scanner bar move when you open the lid & press the copy button?

Have you checked if the unit can make a standalone copy? If ‘YES’ then it means the scan hardware of the All-in-One works fine.

In the meantime, let's try to perform a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Let’s first try and make a “photocopy” to determine whether the issue is with the printer or not. Place a document on the scanner glass and choose “Copy” option. If the printer is making a good copy, then the printer hardware is fine.

Please respond to this post with the details and with the results of the troubleshooting for further assistance.

Eagerly waiting for your response!

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

Perform a power reset.

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
