Your a moderator and add no value here. The hp software for the scanjet g4050 is crap and there is nobody here offering any value added help. It' just that HP software is generally crap. You don't have people that can right good software. And your support people, which I have taked to are off shore in India and cannot provide any substantial assistance. You also want to charge me money for troubleshooting that, if unsucessful, I still have to pay. I have had it trying to make your **bleep** work and am going to a third party software package that can run your scannner and hundreds of others and I get support. You assistance people on here post themselves as graduate students and experts in HP stuff and know nothing about what they are doing. Furthermore, I will never again purhcase an HP product to attach to one of my computers, every experience in the past has been a disaster. Moderate that you idiot.
