To be able to assist your further in finding out why you are not able to scan in color, I do need to confirm some information with you first.
1. Are you able to make a color photocopy?
2. Are you running Windows, or Mac?
3. What version of the Windows operating system are you running? I have included the document 'Which Windows operating system am I running?'.
4. What version of the Mac operating system are you running? I have included the document 'Finding your OS X version and build information'.
5. Has the full featured software been installed for the printer?
6. What software are you using to scan?
