7310 won't send a fax

I have a 7310 All-In-One. When I try to send a fax it won't go through. It just says "provider link" in the printer window and nothing happens after that. I've tried it twice and have given it almost 6 minutes to go through before cancelling. Any ideas? Please help. There are no available updates. The last time I tried to fax something it worked fine, but that was a long time ago.
