Hey ,

 

That's very strange. Perhaps you don't have the HP Full Feature Software and Driver package fully installed on your computer. Can I please have you follow the steps below to fully uninstall the software and driver package for your HP Officejet.

 

 

Step 1: Clear Temp Files:

 

  1. Open your Start screen by selecting the Windows icon on the bottom left of your computer screen or by selecting the Windows key on the bottom left of your keyboard, to the right of the Ctrl button
  2. Under the Start screen type Run. Click Run to launch the Run dialogue box.
  3. In the Run box type %temp% and click OK
  4. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will now highlight.
  5. Select the 'delete' button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains temporary internet files. No actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting the Temp files. Should a Temp file still be used than you will automatically get the pop up to 'skip' that item.
  6. Close the Temp folder once it is emptied
  7. Right click the Recycling Bin on your desktop and select Empty Recycling Bin

 

 

Step 2: Run Uninstall_L3:

 

1. Please click here to download the Full Feature Software and Driver package for your printer as it is required to perform the fix.

 

2. Once the download is complete, allow the download to Run. An extraction should occur. If the installer window pops open after the extraction is complete please close it.You do not want to run through the installation.

 

3. Open your Start screen and type Run. Click Run to launch the Run dialogue box again.

 

4. In the Run box type %temp% and click OK

 

5. When the Temp folder opens please locate the new 7z... folder. Click on this folder to open it.

6. Click on the Util folder

7. Click on the CCC folder to open it.

8. Scroll down to the bottom of the next screen and double left click on Uninstall_L3. The uninstaller will now launch. Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the uninstall.

Once the uninstall has completed successfully please restart your computer. At the point where you are to reinstall your printer, please use this HP Full Feature Software and Driver package.

 

Please let me know if the steps I've provided resolve the Uninstall L3 issue. Good luck! :smileyhappy:

Hi,

 

You can size the image before scan

 

(a) Click printer icon on desktop,

(b) Click Scan document or photo,

(c) Select size (right size) and scan.

6525 won't scan to pc

Printer will scan to SD card, will scan (jpeg)using paint, will scan using Fax and scan. Direct choice from printer :scan,to (named)pc,document (pdf) cannot communicate with pc. screen states to check cables or wireless connection. All that works, just can't get the document scanner to talk to the pc

Thanks Gemini02 for the reply. I 've done the following steps so far

 

 1.Make sure you have the latest Firmware. Software and Drivers.

 

 - Done no joy

 

2. Remove any devices in the AUX telephone port.

 

 - Done no joy

 

3. If there is phone line filter, try removing it.  

 

- N/A

 

4. Then run the fax test. The first test looking for an active phone line should pass.Touch the setup button, (wrench) arrow to Service menu, press OK, then right arrow to fax service, OK, then run fax test.
You should have 4 passes if everything is communicating properly.

 

- passed prior to and after trouble shooting to this point

 

5. Turn the printer off and on again.  There is a reference voltage value that is measured and calculated when the device is powering on.  This should make sure that reading is correct.

 

- passed prior to and after trouble shooting to this point

 

Private receive:
On the printer touch the setup button, (wrench) right arrow to fax setup menu, OK, advanced setup, OK, private receive, OK, turn it off.

6. Error correction:
Go to the setup button, (wrench) right arrow to the service menu, press OK, , error correction, OK, turn it off.

 

 - Done no joy

 

7. Clear saved faxes:
Go to the setup button, (wrench) right arrow service, OK, clear saved faxes, OK, OK to clear.

 

 - Done no joy

Speed:
On the printer touch the setup button, (wrench) right arrow to fax setup menu, OK, advanced setup, OK, fax speed, OK, change it to medium, OK.

Will try this next, but I did also do a test by trying to make a copy from the Document feeder adn noted that both fax and copies do not result in anything when done through the feeder. Might this point to a failure of that part?

 

I have provided a document with some more steps to do, if the issue persists.

 

Private receive:
On the printer touch the setup button, (wrench) right arrow to fax setup menu, OK, advanced setup, OK, private receive, OK, turn it off.

Error correction:
Go to the setup button, (wrench) right arrow to the service menu, press OK, , error correction, OK, turn it off.

Speed:
On the printer touch the setup button, (wrench) right arrow to fax setup menu, OK, advanced setup, OK, fax speed, OK, change it to medium, OK.

Clear saved faxes:
Go to the setup button, (wrench) right arrow service, OK, clear saved faxes, OK, OK to clear.

 

I have provided a document with some more steps to do, if the issue persists.

Server Connection Error: 403

Hi there,

 

My scanning to email was working fine but I have just started getting a message Server Connection Errror: 403. I tried all the things people suggested on your forum to no avail. Please give me some advice. I can scan directly to the computer but I would like this resolved.

Try below steps to resolve the Server Connection error: 403
1. Obtain your printer's IP address
a. This can be done by pressing the wireless icon on printer.
2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.
3. Select the network tab at the top of the page.
4. On the left select networking.
5. Select Network Address (IP)
6. Select Manual DNS Server
a. Manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8
b. Alternate DNS Server should read. 8.8.4.4
7. Select apply you might get a warning just select okay.

problems uploading scanned images to ebay site

Once I have scanned an image I am having problems uploading said image to ebay can anyone help me.

I am a veteran have been ebaying for 15 years but my new HP computer and I are not in love with each other as yet?

Thank you so so much for this advice, I already did this and problem persisted. Do I need to restart the printer, computer etc as well? What else can you suggest?

Black Cartridge not printing

I am using HP Deskjet Inkadvantage 1515 Printer, I had problem with my black cartridge and given for servicing within waranty period they took more than 1 month to return the printer from servicing till then my waranty period completed. now after servicing my printer still not printing black colour. and both the lights not lighting after I insert the cartridge. the cartridges came along with the printer. once in the system shown the ink level now both the ink level not showing instead showing exclamation mark. please help.

Thanks for providing that information. If you are unable to make a copy from the feeder, it may be a hardware issue with the printer.

 

Can you send a fax from the glass?

 

I will send you another step to try in a private message.

After approximately 20 pages I get the following msg:

 

Internal error. Refer to the extended code. EX=2059

 

I can't seem to find out what this code means. Anybody encounter this?

I just bought an Officejet 6435 from Costco. The adf tray jams every time after two to three pages even with brand new, unwrinkled paper. Is this common or is this unit just defective?

Thanks to A-23 for repsonding to my problem. My Printer is an HP Office Jet pro 8500 A909 printer.

 

As you know my problem is when I attempt to make a copy from the flatglass, I get a "load paper" message when I attempt to make the copy. I click OK , (even though I have loaded no paper) and it works for one copy. The same problem occurs if I attempt to make another copy. etc. If you can help that would be great.

Thank you for your help we went through all the procedures unfortunately didn't work,I did say in my previous post that we did try new ink and didn't work,but as last resort tried the new ink again and it worked copied fine,just a quick question although original-ink was not that used that much and no indicator saying low ink etc and yet would not copie ,do they detiriate .? Thank you again paul

It is advisable to retart computer and printer. After restarting you are still facing issue then try below steps:
1. Tap the ePrint button which is found on the top left corner of the screen.
2. Go to Settings, and then look for Remove Web Services, hit Yes. It should go back to the Home Screen.
3. Tap the ePrint button again then Accept the Terms, press Yes if prompted to enable Auto Update then once done on the process try scanning again.
